Who I am

I'm Jose Molero, a DevOps and Platform Engineer based in Vienna, Austria. I currently work at squer, where I help teams build reliable cloud infrastructure and developer platforms.

My day-to-day involves designing cloud-native architectures, building internal platforms, and making sure developers can ship software with confidence. I care deeply about developer experience — the tooling, workflows, and abstractions that let engineering teams move fast without breaking things.

What drives me

I'm fascinated by the intersection of AI and infrastructure. Not the hype — the practical application. How can AI agents help us manage complex systems? How does MCP (Model Context Protocol) create a universal language between AI models and our tools? What does it look like when GenAI becomes part of the platform engineer's toolkit?

I'm not an AI researcher. I'm a practitioner — someone who takes these technologies and figures out how they solve real problems in cloud and DevOps. I write about what I learn, share my experiments, and try to cut through the noise to what actually matters.
